Orion LUTs by Gamut – Vintage Cinematic Grades for LOG Footage

Created by Jake Pierrelee for Gamut, Orion is a vintage film palette with strong reds, saturated navy blues and dark areas that still show texture. Faces stay credible even with stylised contrast, and the footage feels analog instead of overworked.

Every family comes in three strengths. Standard is the base. +CON raises contrast. +CRUSH sinks the shadows and quietens the highlights. An Orion PowerGrade is included for colourists who prefer to keep working inside DaVinci Resolve.

Requirements

Feed it properly exposed LOG footage such as Sony S-Log, Canon Log or Panasonic V-Log. Supported cameras include Sony Alpha and FX bodies, Canon R and Cinema EOS models, Panasonic GH and S series, Blackmagic Pocket, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X and DJI drones. Load it in Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or another editor that accepts 3D LUTs.
