DVLOPby DVLOP
Created by The Kitcheners for DVLOP's Majestic Collection, the Emotive Presets draw on the earthy palette of Scotland's landscapes. Long hours spent on tone curves and colour balance produced a look that's filmic but grounded: truthful skin, natural colour and black & white that works in dim interiors as well as bright fine-art frames.
Blacks Lift, Raise Black Levels, Level, Contrast −, Dehaze −, Highlights −, Shadows +, Saturate +, Desaturate +, Desaturate Green and Grain On, plus five colour gradings: Warm, Cool, Emotive, Natural and Green Shadows/Creamy Highlights.
More than an hour of video explains the workflow and the thinking behind the colour. Works in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom and Camera Raw with RAW or JPEG files, and is well suited to weddings, elopements, portraits, editorial and fine art.
