Lumenary's v2 Essential edition is about the look of a finished print rather than a raw negative. The profiles come from genuine 35mm stock that was scanned on Fuji's Frontier SP-3000, the lab scanner behind a large share of modern film work.

The character

Warmth reminiscent of RA-4 photographic paper, tonal transitions that ease off instead of clipping, and the slightly irregular colour balance typical of a lab scan. The effect is closer to holding a print than to applying a filter.
